Hey look! The director is Robert Clouse! Do you remember him from when he was famous? He obviously worked out early into the film that he could direct this one in his sleep. Wow, Richard Norton`s in it too, but does he get to fight? Guess! This movie is packed full of missed opportunities and I wouldn`t hesitate to recommend that, if you get the opportunity, you miss it.
Bolo Yeung is saved for the 'big' fight at the end of this slow, ineffective Martial Arts B-Movie. I would advise you set your alarm for this final fight scene. Britton Lee, aka Korean Jung Lee, spends far too much time posing in his Porsche, admiring the scenery (Portland, Oregon), which is very pretty, but this is supposed to be a fight film, isnt it? He`s no doubt a Black Belt (Taekwondo?) but doesn`t exactly explode onto the screen like the best of the big-screen kickers, Wong Cheng Le, Whang In Sik, Ken Lo, John Lau, Tan Tao Liang, etc.
