"Bolo, Bob Wall and Ahna Capri were at the LA Comic and Sci Fi Convention to promote the 25th Anniversary of Enter The Dragon. I actually went to see Jet Li, who was also appearing later in the day, but all my friends actually specifically requested that I take a picture of Bolo (no one asked about Bob Wall).

I found the table where the three of them were signing autographs. It was nearing the end of their session and Jet was about to come out on the main stage, so there was no wait, I recognized Bolo and walked up to him a bit intimidated by the large security guy standing adjacent to him. I said something along the lines of "Hey, Bolo, I'm a big fan!" and shook his hand. He kind of smiled, and then I said, "Can I take a photo?" He sort of nodded and then I asked the burly security guy to snap a picture with my camera. I said "Thanks a lot!" and wandered off... and as I was walking away, I realized that Bolo hadn't said a word, nor had he really responded to anything I said directly. Somehow I got the impression that he either had no desire to talk to anyone, or in fact he doesn't really understand English very well."
